One Health High Level Expert Panel (OHHLEP)

Formed in May 2021 to advise FAO, UNEP, WHO and WOAH on One Health issues like H5N1 avian influenza, MERS, Ebola, Zika, and possibly, COVID-19.

American TelePhysicians digitizes the concept of One Health to ‘’Green Digital Health’’

Green Digital Health approach aims to improve health by working with partners operating in human and environmental health. 

Facilitating healthcare in communities and aims to educate, change and mobilize partnerships that increase access to basic services including healthcare, water, sanitation and education.

As a stakeholder at the One Health High-Level Expert Panel (OHHLEP), ATP is focused on identifying new solutions to address the risks and impacts in healthcare ecosystems. 

ATP believes that community engagement is critical to promoting risk-reducing habits and attitudes, and to support early detection and containment of health-related issues.

  1. Recognizing the complex nature of public health threats and the need for multi-stakeholder and multi-sectoral approaches beyond traditional health agendas
  2. Recognizing the inter-connectivity of issues in human, animal and environmental health that need collective attention from the industry, academia, NGOs, healthcare, government and intergovernmental organizations
  3. Calling on regional and local partnerships as means to identify, commit, and implement innovative solutions
  4. Committing resources to find solutions that are sustainable and accessible.
