Formed in May 2021 to advise FAO, UNEP, WHO and WOAH on One Health issues like H5N1 avian influenza, MERS, Ebola, Zika, and possibly, COVID-19.

As a stakeholder at the One Health High-Level Expert Panel (OHHLEP), ATP is focused on identifying new solutions to address the risks and impacts in healthcare ecosystems.
ATP believes that community engagement is critical to promoting risk-reducing habits and attitudes, and to support early detection and containment of health-related issues.
- Recognizing the complex nature of public health threats and the need for multi-stakeholder and multi-sectoral approaches beyond traditional health agendas
- Recognizing the inter-connectivity of issues in human, animal and environmental health that need collective attention from the industry, academia, NGOs, healthcare, government and intergovernmental organizations
- Calling on regional and local partnerships as means to identify, commit, and implement innovative solutions
